Greater Tuna

Come join the citizens of Tuna, Texas, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. Two actors portray the entire population of the third smallest town in Texas - men, women, children - and even animals - with 20 characters and over seventy costume changes.

Michael Paul Levin (Thurston)
  At PBP: Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Max Prince), The Pavilion (The Narrator), Groucho: A Life in Revue (Groucho Marx)
  Michael Paul Levin is pleased to return to Paul Bunyan Playhouse For his fourth season. He has kept busy throughout the Twin Cities at Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Mixed Blood, Penumbra, Park Square, Illusion and the Great American History Theater among others. His portrayal of George Gershwin in Gershwin The Klezmer has taken him from the York Theater off Broadway to the San Diego Rep and down to the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami. He can often be seen and heard in numerous TV and radio commercials. Also an award-winning playwright, he is one of the creators of We Gotta Bingo! for Actor's Theater of Minnesota which played at the Lowry Theater in St. Paul for more than two years.

  Eric Webster has been performing for over 20 years. On stage he has also performed with the Actors Theater of Minnesota, Bryant Lake Bowl Theater, Hey City Theater, Lowry Theater, Pioneer Place Theater. Hennepin Stages, and the Playwrights' Center. Eric's former careers included stints as a radio talk show host and DJ, stand up comedian, and TV show Host.

Zach Curtis (Director, Scenic Designer))
  At PBP (directing): Artistic Director since 2006 - Three Days of Rain, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, The Pavilion, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Guys and Dolls, The Drawer Boy, Harvey, Wait Until Dark, Don’t Hug Me   Zach Curtis was the Artistic Director of Fifty Foot Penguin Theater in Minneapolis for 10 seasons, where he directed a number of critically acclaimed shows , including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Elephant Man, 12 Angry Men and the area premiere of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical. He also has staged works for Pioneer Place on Fifth, Starting Gate, Pigs Eye, Jon Hassler Theater, Actors Theatre of MN and Theatre in the Round.
