Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure

Sherlock Holmes at the height of his powers is surrounded by all the elements that fans of his exploits have come to expect: danger, intrigue, wit, humor, and surprise. With his trusted companion Doctor Watson at his side, Holmes matches wits with his arch-nemesis, the evil Professor Moriarty, and faces his greatest challenge: a chilling mystery involving a kidnapped diva, scandalous letters, and London's seamy underworld.

Bob Malos (Sherlock Holmes)
  At PBP: Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Val), The Drawer Boy (Morgan), Wait Until Dark (Mike Talman - 1991), How to Improve Your Golf Game
  This is Bob's 5th season at PBP. Bob has done many shows for Fifty Foot Penguin, Theatre In The Round, Gremlin Theatre, Girl Friday, Hardcover, and many other Twin Cities theatre companies. In 2006 he was named "Best Actor in the Twin Cities" by City Pages.

Keith Prusak (Dr. Watson)
  Keith is very pleased to return to the Paul Bunyan Playhouse! He appeared here as the Tin Man in 2002's The Wizard of Oz. A Detroit native, Keith spent 2 seasons at the Michigan Shakespeare Festival with roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III, The Comedy of Errors and Macbeth. Favorite Twin Cities roles include Claudius in Hamlet, Ceyx/Apollo/Bacchus in Metamorphoses (Theatre Pro Rata), Toby Belch in Twelfth Night (Shakespeare In The Park), Biff in Death of a Salesman (Starting Gate), and Richard Burbage in Shakespeare's Land of The Dead (Walking Shadow).

Craig Johnson (Dr. Moriarty)
  At PBP: Wait Until Dark (Roat), Bus Stop (Dr. Lyman), The Rainmaker (Noah), Blithe Spirit
  Craig Johnson returns after directing last season’s production of The Music Man. He also directed The Mousetrap and The Mystery of Irma Vep at PBP. Based in the Twin Cities, Craig has acted in or directed over 150 shows, including productions for History Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Torch Theater, 10,000 Things Theatre, Theatre in the Round, and Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, MN. Craig is also the manager of the Minnesota Historical Society's James J. Hill House.

  At PBP: Company Manager 2008 and 09 - The Music Man (Ethel), Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Helen), Chicago (Annie), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Sandra), Guys and Dolls (HotBox Dancer)
  Katherine Tieben is back for her fourth season at PBP, and her second as Company Manager. She is a graduate of Bemidji State University, and her recent Twin Cities credits include I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change and Godspell with Chameleon Theatre Circle, and Tales of Horror from the Bible with Bridge Productions.

Randall J. Funk (James Larabee)
  At PBP: Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Brian), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Dr. Spivey), Wait Until Dark (Sgt. Carlino)
  Randall J. Funk is returning for his fourth season at Paul Bunyan Playhouse. Randy spent six years as artistic director of Pigs Eye Theatre, working as an actor (Speed-The-Plow, Henry V), director (Buried Child, The Front Page) and writer (The Hound of The Baskervilles, Bring Me The Head of Dominic Papatola). He has also served as marketing director for Starting Gate Productions. Randy currently lives in St. Louis Park with his wife, Kris, and their son, Benjamin.

Mallory McKay (Madge Larabee)
  At PBP: The Music Man
  Mallory McKay is from Rochester, MN. She will be entering her fourth year at Bemidji State University this fall. Mallory is majoring in elementary education. She has been involved in productions at BSU and in Bemidji community theater as a performer, director, and choreographer. This is her second season at the playhouse and is very happy to be back! A few most recent roles include Noah in No More Peace, Roz in Moon Over Buffalo, and a Kit Kat Club girl in Cabaret.

Jaimee Lusby (Postboy, Young Swiss Man)
  At PBP: The Music Man (Gracie Shinn), Born Yesterday (Bellhop/Bootblack), Wait Until Dark (Gloria)
  Jaimee Lusby has performed with the Bemidji Community Theater playing the role of Virginia in Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Other performances have included A Midsummer’s Night Dream with the Prairie Fire Children's Theater, Disney’s High School Musical produced by the Mask & Rose Theater ,and a local theater production of A Christmas Carol. Jaimee was a member of the Bemidji Middle School show choir, Jive and is now looking forward to starting high school!

  Zach Curtis was the Artistic Director of Fifty Foot Penguin Theater in Minneapolis for 10 seasons, where he directed a number of critically acclaimed shows , including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Elephant Man, 12 Angry Men and the area premiere of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical. He also has staged works for Pioneer Place on Fifth, Starting Gate, Pigs Eye, Jon Hassler Theater, Actors Theatre of MN and Theatre in the Round.
